Authorities have barricaded several roads in central Delhi to facilitate an INDIA bloc march and VIP movement, prompting a traffic alert. Commuters are advised to avoid the affected routes and seek alternative paths.
Police have erected barricades on several roads in central Delhi to manage the movement of participants in an INDIA bloc march and the passage of VIP convoys. The barricades have led to temporary halts and diversions on key arteries.
The INDIA bloc, a coalition of opposition parties, is conducting a march through the city as part of its political programme, while simultaneous VIP movement necessitated additional security measures.
Traffic authorities have issued an alert urging commuters to avoid the affected stretches and use alternative routes such as the Ring Road and peripheral highways to minimize delays.
Officials said the barricades will remain in place until the march concludes and VIP movement is completed, after which normal traffic flow will be restored.
