The Central Bureau of Investigation has disclosed that IAS officers were offered gold, alcohol and even 'mujra' as inducements in the IDFC public funds scam case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has released a detailed report outlining the inducements given to senior IAS officers in the ongoing IDFC public funds scam investigation.
According to the report, the officers were offered gold jewellery, alcoholic beverages and even performances of 'mujra' as a means of influence.
The IDFC scam involves alleged diversion of public funds through the Indian Development Finance Company, and the CBI has been probing the involvement of high-ranking officials.
CBI officials said the findings will be forwarded to the prosecuting authority and that further action will be taken against those implicated.
