French actress Camille Cottin announced her directorial debut with the feature film 'Call My Agent', and the official trailer has now been released.
Paris‑based actress Camille Cottin, best known for starring in the hit series "Call My Agent!", is stepping behind the camera for the first time. The project, titled after the popular TV show, will be her debut as a film director. A teaser trailer unveiled this week showcases the film’s tone and confirms that several familiar faces from the series will appear in supporting roles.
Cottin said in a recent interview that directing the movie has been a long‑standing ambition, but she faced numerous obstacles before securing funding and a production schedule. She described the experience as "a test of perseverance" and expressed confidence that the story will resonate with both existing fans and new audiences.
The film is slated for a theatrical release later this year, with distribution plans targeting both French and international markets. Industry observers note that Cottin’s transition from actor to director reflects a broader trend of performers taking creative control of their projects.
