Police in Bhopal’s Katara Hills seized MD drugs and cannabis from the kitchen of a CAG audit officer’s residence and detained his wife, launching a probe into possible family involvement.
Police conducting a routine check at a residence in Katara Hills, Pride City, Bhopal, uncovered a cache of narcotics hidden in the kitchen of a senior audit officer attached to the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). The seizure comprised 3.7 grams of MD‑type drugs and approximately 1.205 kilograms of cannabis.
Following the discovery, officers detained the officer’s wife for questioning. She was taken into custody at the scene, and the case has been forwarded to the district crime branch for further investigation.
