The by-election for the assembly seat vacated by former CM Vijay has yet to be scheduled, leaving voters in the constituency without representation.
The assembly seat that became vacant after former Chief Minister Vijay stepped down remains unfilled.
Election officials have not announced a date for the bypoll, leaving the constituency without a representative in the state legislature.
Political parties in the region are awaiting a timetable, with some urging the Election Commission to expedite the process.
The delay means that local issues and development projects in the area may face slower progress without a dedicated MLA.
