A multi‑storey structure in the city of Ambala, Haryana, collapsed early this morning, leaving a chaotic scene of debris and trapped occupants. Local police and fire services were the first to arrive at the site and secured the surrounding area to prevent further injuries.
Within minutes, teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were deployed. Equipped with cutting tools, hydraulic spreaders and medical kits, the rescuers began clearing rubble and searching for survivors. Coordination with the state disaster management authority ensured that additional medical and police personnel were on standby.
