Newly appointed Bihar School Examination Board chairman Rajesh Kumar has ordered that all pending matters be settled within a month and announced a special admission window from 7‑17 November for students who missed the 2027 matric‑inter exams.

Rajesh Kumar took charge as the chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) this week. In his first official communication, he instructed the board’s officials to resolve every pending case within a thirty‑day period, signalling a push for administrative efficiency.

Alongside the clearance drive, Kumar announced a remedial admission scheme for students who were unable to appear for the Matric‑Inter 2027 examinations. The board will accept applications from 7 November to 17 November, giving a narrow window for eligible candidates to register.

The move aims to address both backlog issues and the concerns of students whose education was disrupted, ensuring that they can sit for the upcoming examinations without further delay. BSEB officials have been asked to publicise the dates widely and to streamline the verification process.

Stakeholders, including school principals and parent‑teacher associations, have welcomed the decisive timeline, noting that swift action could restore confidence in the board’s functioning ahead of the next academic cycle.
