Authorities have issued legal notices to a Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and his relatives concerning allegedly missing land surrounding Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse in Telangana.

Authorities in Telangana have served notices to a senior Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and members of his family over a parcel of land that is reported missing from the area surrounding Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's farmhouse.

The disputed tract is said to form part of a larger plot that belongs to the state government and is linked to the chief minister's residential complex. Revenue officials initiated the action after a routine land survey highlighted a discrepancy in the recorded boundaries.

The BRS leader has not publicly responded to the notices, and the department has indicated that the matter will be examined further to determine whether any illegal encroachment or documentation error has occurred.

Land disputes involving political figures are closely watched in the state, and officials have emphasized that the investigation will proceed without political bias.
