BJP slams Rahul Gandhi over '80% non-veg' BRICS food post

BJP spokespersons condemned Rahul Gandhi for sharing a photo of a meal served at the BRICS summit, in which the post claimed that 80% of the dishes were non-vegetarian. The party said the post was an attempt to turn a simple meal into political theatre. Rahul Gandhi’s post was shared on his social media accounts during the summit held in an unspecified location. The BJP’s criticism came shortly after the image went viral on the internet. The party’s leaders urged the opposition to focus on policy rather than food politics.
