A BJP Member of Parliament has drawn attention to the deteriorating condition of schools in Karbi Anglong, noting that even road-side institutions are in poor shape and questioning the state of remote-area schools.
The BJP MP raised concerns about school infrastructure during a recent interaction, stating that many schools located along roadsides in Karbi Anglong are in a dilapidated condition.
He warned that if schools near highways are already suffering, the situation in more remote interior areas could be even worse, affecting children's access to quality education.
The MP urged the district administration and the state government to conduct a thorough assessment and take immediate steps to repair and upgrade school buildings, ensuring a safe learning environment for students.
