The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a two‑day brainstorming programme on the upcoming Punjab elections, with party leader BL Santosh appointed to chair the sessions.
The BJP on Monday announced a two‑day brainstorming session to chart its campaign strategy for the upcoming Punjab Legislative Assembly elections. The meetings commence today and will run for 48 hours.
Senior party functionary BL Santosh has been named the convenor of the sessions. He will coordinate inputs from senior leaders, local cadres and campaign strategists to fine‑tune the party’s outreach and candidate selection.
The move comes as the election schedule for Punjab draws nearer, and the BJP aims to consolidate its position against regional rivals. Party officials said the brainstorming will focus on voter issues, alliance possibilities and ground‑level mobilization.
Details of the agenda have not been released, but observers expect discussions on agrarian distress, employment and law‑and‑order narratives that dominate Punjab’s political discourse.
