The Bharatiya Janata Party began a march from Subhash Nagar to Patnipura in Indore on Friday, featuring Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, and reported a crowd of around one lakh.
On Friday morning at 10 a.m., the Bharatiya Janata Party kicked off a "Democracy Save – Chaos Remove" foot march in Indore, covering the stretch from Subhash Nagar Chowk to Patnipura Chowk. The rally was positioned as a campaign to reinforce democratic values and curb disorder, according to party organizers.
The procession was led by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, who addressed participants at the starting point. Both leaders emphasized the party's commitment to maintaining law and order while urging citizens to support the cause.
Party officials claimed that roughly one lakh people joined the march, creating a sizable crowd along the route. The large gathering caused a temporary traffic jam on the main arteries between the two chowks, prompting local authorities to manage vehicular flow.
Police and municipal officials were on the ground to ensure safety and to clear the congestion as the march progressed. No incidents were reported during the event, and the rally concluded without disruption.
