The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced that 150,000 party workers will be mobilised in the first phase of its village‑level campaign in Rajasthan to bolster its grassroots support.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a large‑scale outreach drive targeting villages across Rajasthan. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the party will field approximately one and a half lakh workers in the first phase of the campaign, aiming to deepen its presence at the grassroots level.
The mobilisation is part of the BJP's broader strategy to consolidate rural support ahead of upcoming state elections. Party officials say the workers will engage in door‑to‑door interactions, local meetings and assistance programmes to address village concerns and reinforce the party's image.
By concentrating efforts on the countryside, the BJP hopes to translate its organisational strength into electoral gains, especially in regions where competition from opposition parties remains intense.
