The Birla Group, one of India's leading industrial conglomerates, has committed a corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund of ₹5 crore to Sangam Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Andhra Pradesh. The grant is earmarked for the construction of a new building that will expand the institute's capacity to deliver vocational training.
Sangam ITI, which offers a range of technical courses to youth in the region, will use the funds to develop modern classrooms, workshops and related infrastructure. The upgrade is expected to improve skill development outcomes and enhance employability for local trainees.
