The scammer, who posed as a non-resident Indian (NRI) living in London, befriended the woman on WhatsApp and emotionally manipulated her into transferring the money into different accounts. The woman, who was a victim of a 'romance scam', was convinced by the scammer's false promises and ended up losing a significant amount of money.
