The state’s heat is easing in several districts, and the meteorological department forecasts light rain in Patna today with milder temperatures over the next seven days.
The Bihar State Meteorological Department has issued a seven‑day outlook indicating a gradual drop in daytime temperatures across the state. Morning breezes in rural areas are expected to be gentle enough that fans will no longer be essential, signalling a modest respite from the recent heat wave.
Patna, the state capital, is forecast to receive light showers later today, breaking a brief dry spell. Temperatures are likely to hover in the mid‑30s Celsius, a few degrees lower than the peak values recorded earlier this month.
Other districts will experience similar conditions, with scattered cloud cover and occasional drizzle in the evenings. Residents are advised to stay updated with local bulletins for any changes, especially in areas where heat remains higher.
Overall, the upcoming week promises a more comfortable climate, allowing agricultural activities and daily routines to proceed without the extreme heat that has dominated recent days.
