The Bihar government will broaden the Kushal Yuva programme under Sat Nischay‑3, assigning 871 Digital Mitra centres to operators with online applications opening on 6 Oct 2026.
Bihar has announced the next phase of its Kushal Yuva (Skilled Youth) initiative under the Sat Nischay‑3 framework. The move aims to strengthen skill development and digital outreach for young people across the state.
In the first stage, 871 operators will each receive a dedicated Digital Mitra centre, which will serve as a local hub for training, certification and online services. Applications for these centres will be accepted online starting 6 October 2026, allowing interested candidates to register through the state portal.
A second phase will follow, earmarking additional centres to broaden the network further. Officials expect the expanded infrastructure to boost employment prospects, enhance digital literacy and create a more robust ecosystem for youth empowerment in Bihar.
