Bihar to Build Extensive Road Network: Minister Gadkari Reveals 125,000 Crore Road Plan

At the Bihar Investor Meet, Minister Nitish Gadkari announced that 68,000 crore rupees worth of road projects have been completed, 65,100 crore project is underway, and a 125,000 crore roadmap is proposed.
At the Bihar Investor Meet held in Patna, Union Minister Nitish Gadkari highlighted the state’s ambitious road development agenda. He revealed that a total of ₹68,000 crore has already been spent on completing road projects across the state.
The minister added that a ₹65,100 crore project is currently in progress, aimed at improving connectivity in key districts. "We are on track to finish these works within the stipulated timelines," he said.
Looking ahead, Gadkari presented a comprehensive roadmap worth ₹1.25 lakh crore. The plan includes the construction of new highways, expressways, and rural road networks to boost trade and mobility.
The announcement underscores the central government’s commitment to infrastructure investment in Bihar, positioning the state as a growing hub for commerce and development.
