Abhishek Singh of Motihari is alleged to have been in contact with a woman on social media, raising suspicions of espionage for Pakistan. The National Investigation Agency has received fresh information and is intensifying the probe.

Abhishek Singh, a resident of Motihari in Bihar, has been named in a fresh espionage case involving alleged links to Pakistan.

According to police sources, Singh was contacted by a woman through a social‑media platform. The nature of their communication has prompted authorities to suspect that he may have been relaying sensitive information.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has received new input related to the case and has stepped up its investigation. Officials say the agency is reviewing all available evidence and coordinating with local police.

At present, Singh remains under scrutiny and the probe is ongoing. No formal charges have been filed yet, but the NIA’s involvement signals a serious escalation of the investigation.
