Patna, Oct 6 (The Times of India) – The Bihar state government issued an order banning the use of disc jockeys at Durga Puja celebrations across the state. The directive applies to all public and private venues hosting the Hindu festival, aiming to maintain traditional decorum during the rites.
In parallel, the administration has instructed police and district authorities to step up security arrangements. Additional personnel will be deployed at major pandals, and routine patrols will be intensified to ensure public safety.
Officials said the measures are being taken to prevent any untoward incidents and to preserve the cultural atmosphere of the festival. The ban and security directive will be enforced from the start of the Puja week until its conclusion.
