An embankment breach in the Saran district of Bihar has unleashed a severe flood, inundating 236 villages across six blocks. The disaster management department reports that 4,60,963 residents and 1,04,043 families have been affected. Authorities have moved 74,737 people to safer locations and deployed 128 boats to aid evacuation and relief operations.
