Bihar Education Minister Suspends Sarayarnjan BEO Over Teacher Grievances

In the eastern district of Samastipur, teachers from Sarayarnjan school filed a formal complaint alleging significant delays in the processing of leave applications, salary disbursements and other service-related matters. The grievances were brought to the attention of the state education department in the late evening. Within half an hour, Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari issued a suspension order against BEO Nirmala Kumari, the district education officer responsible for the area. The minister cited the urgency of addressing the teachers’ concerns and the need to maintain administrative accountability. An inquiry has been launched to investigate the alleged lapses and determine further action.
