Bidar: Children from Morarji Desai Residential School Bagdal in Bidar taluk have qualified for the state level sports competition after winning at the district level. Fifteen students excelled in various categories including chess and badminton.
In the chess competition for girls under 17 years, Aarushi (10th), Bhavani (9th), and Srushti (8th) secured top positions. Among boys under 17 years, Karthik Gowda (10th) qualified, while Suhas Reddy (8th) succeeded in the boys under 14 category. For girls under 14 years, Pavaki Reddy, Shraddha, and Aikyatha Veerashetty (all 8th) performed well. In badminton, the girls under 14 team led by Pavaki Reddy and others won first place and qualified for the divisional level, while Arushi Santosh and Priya Vaijinath qualified in the under-17 girls’ shuttle badminton category.
Principal Channabasava Hedde expressed his pride and congratulated the students and physical education teacher Mrs. Savita Mashetti for their achievements and dedication.
