Tumakuru: Dispute Over Siddaganga Mutt and Ashok Kheni Relationship
Tumakuru: A press note regarding the relationship between the historic Siddaganga Mutt and former legislator Ashok Kheni has sparked intense public debate. The Mutt issued a statement denying any connection with Ashok Kheni and stated that he had not visited the Mutt, which triggered controversy.
Supporters of Ashok Kheni have strongly disputed the Mutt's claim by releasing clear photographs showing Rudregowda of NICE presenting a golden bear to Lingayata Dr. Shri Shivakumara Mahaswamiji and Ashok Kheni receiving his final darshan when the Swamiji was still alive. Fans have questioned the necessity of issuing such a statement without verifying facts. In response, Siddaganga Mutt Executive Director Jayavibhava Swamiji has assured a thorough investigation into the matter and promised to clarify the truth. The ongoing confusion due to unconfirmed official releases highlights the need for an authoritative statement from the Mutt's administration to resolve the controversy.
