The Madhya Pradesh capital has confirmed 80 swine flu infections, with two deaths reported, according to health officials.
The state health department in Bhopal announced on Tuesday that 80 individuals have tested positive for H1N1 swine flu, and two of the patients have died. The cases were identified through routine surveillance and laboratory confirmation.
Health officials have launched an intensified outreach program, urging residents to seek early medical attention for flu-like symptoms and to receive antiviral treatment where indicated. Free testing kits and antiviral drugs have been dispatched to hospitals and primary health centres across the city.
