Bhopal Hotels to Implement Bar Code-Based Guest Verification

The Bhopal Police are set to launch a pilot project to verify the identities of guests staying in hotels, lodges, and Dharamshalas within the city. This initiative, proposed by the M.P. Nagar police station, will utilize a guest app and barcode scanning technology to cross-reference guest information with Aadhaar data offline. The aim is to enhance security measures and prevent the use of fake identities in these establishments.
