Bengal's First Tiger Relocation: Tigress Arrives in Assam

West Bengal has made history with its first-ever tiger relocation project, successfully transferring a tigress from Bihar to Assam. This marks a significant step in conservation efforts, aiming to enhance tiger populations in different regions. The tigress was carefully transported and is now being acclimated to its new environment in Assam. This initiative is being closely monitored by wildlife experts who are hopeful it will set a precedent for future tiger relocations across India.
