Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said the upcoming bankers’ conclave will create fresh avenues for investment and growth in Mizoram.
Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia highlighted that a bankers’ conclave scheduled for later this year is expected to unlock significant investment opportunities for the northeastern state of Mizoram. He emphasized that the gathering will bring together senior banking officials, policymakers and industry leaders to explore financing options tailored to the region’s developmental needs.
The conclave, organized by a leading banking association, aims to showcase Mizoram’s growth potential in sectors such as tourism, agriculture and renewable energy. Participants are expected to discuss credit facilities, public‑private partnership models and other financial instruments that could accelerate infrastructure projects and entrepreneurship in the state.
Scindia added that unlocking new capital flows will not only boost the state’s economy but also create jobs and improve connectivity with the rest of the country. He urged local entrepreneurs to prepare viable project proposals to attract bank interest during the event.
