Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – The Banasagar Dam, situated on the Banas River, has seen its water level rise sharply amid continuous rainfall.
According to the dam authorities, the level has crossed the 100‑meter mark, exceeding the design limit.
To prevent overtopping, the gates were opened and water was released into the Son River, with flow rates monitored by the irrigation department.
A drone operated by a local media crew captured the cascading water, and the footage has spread widely on social media, drawing attention to the dam’s condition.
