Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame is set to surpass James Cameron’s Avatar in weekend box‑office collections, marking it as the highest‑grossing film worldwide.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame is poised to overtake James Cameron’s Avatar in weekend box‑office earnings, a milestone that would make it the highest‑grossing film ever.
The announcement comes after the film’s cumulative worldwide collections have steadily climbed, closing the gap with Avatar’s record. Industry analysts note that the surge is driven by a strong domestic turnout and a robust international release.
If the projections hold, Endgame will break the long‑standing record held by Avatar for over two decades. The move underscores the enduring popularity of the Marvel franchise and its global appeal.
Film distributors have already begun to adjust their marketing strategies to capitalize on the historic achievement, while fans across the country celebrate the momentous occasion.
The result will be officially confirmed once weekend earnings are finalized, but the current trajectory points to a new benchmark in cinematic history.
