The Assam Rifles unit in Tripura rescued a teenage boy from Dimapur who had gone missing in Agartala, and handed him over to his family.
The Assam Rifles, a paramilitary force under the Ministry of Defence, tracked down a missing teenage boy from Dimapur while conducting routine duties in Agartala, Tripura. Local authorities were alerted after the boy failed to return home, prompting a joint search effort.
The troops deployed a team of personnel who combed residential areas, markets and transport hubs, using both ground patrols and local intelligence. Within hours the team located the boy, who was found unharmed and guided back to the designated hand‑over point.
