Chief Minister Pema Khandu visited the site to assess progress on the upcoming Buddha relics exposition, a significant cultural event aimed at showcasing Buddhist heritage.

The Buddha relics exposition, slated to open in the coming months, will feature a collection of artifacts and manuscripts that trace the spread of Buddhism in the region. The event is expected to attract scholars, pilgrims and tourists alike.

During his visit, CM Pema Khandu toured the exhibition hall, inspected the display cases, and met with the organizing committee to ensure that safety and preservation standards are met. He emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations.

Officials reported that the venue is on schedule, with all logistical arrangements, including security and transportation, already in place. The state government has allocated additional funds to support the project.

The exposition is scheduled to open to the public in early December, coinciding with the Buddhist festival of Buddha Purnima. The CM expressed confidence that the event will boost cultural tourism in Arunachal Pradesh.
