Army Officers Arrested in Punjab Over Alleged ISI Spy Plot

Punjab police arrested several army personnel on Tuesday, alleging they were involved in an espionage plot linked to Pakistan’s ISI. The arrests were part of a wider investigation into suspected intelligence leaks from Indian soldiers. Authorities say the suspects were gathering confidential information and transmitting it to the foreign agency. The Indian Army has denied any wrongdoing and stated it will cooperate fully with the investigation. The case is being handled by Punjab Police’s Special Branch in coordination with the Intelligence Bureau.
