The Vice-Chancellor of Arunachal Pradesh University (APU) addressed the university community on Monday, emphasizing the need for higher academic standards and a renewed focus on research and teaching quality.
He highlighted that the university has seen steady growth in enrollment but stresses that academic excellence must accompany this expansion. The VC urged faculty to adopt innovative pedagogical approaches, increase collaborative research projects, and strengthen industry linkages.
Looking ahead, the VC announced plans to launch a series of workshops and mentorship programmes aimed at enhancing student critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the goal of positioning APU as a leading institution in the northeastern region.
