APPSC Updates Recruitment Rules to Include PRC, APST and Tribal Language Requirements

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has revised its recruitment guidelines to mandate consideration of Persons with Disabilities, Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribes, and proficiency in tribal languages.
The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) announced a revision to its recruitment rules that now requires the inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (PRC), Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribes (APST), and proficiency in tribal languages as part of the selection criteria.
Under the new guidelines, candidates belonging to the PRC and APST categories will receive reserved consideration, while knowledge of a tribal language will be evaluated as a separate criterion for certain posts.
The Arunachal Pradesh Administrative Service Union (AAPSU) welcomed the changes, stating that they will broaden opportunities for local talent and promote inclusivity within the state’s civil services.
