Chief Minister Naidu addressed a gathering in Andhra Pradesh, underscoring that reliable water supply is fundamental to the state's economic and social progress. He noted that agriculture, industry, urban infrastructure and health services all depend on adequate water availability.
The minister called for integrated water management strategies, including better irrigation, rainwater harvesting and modernized distribution networks, to meet the growing demand across sectors. He urged relevant departments to coordinate efforts and accelerate ongoing projects aimed at enhancing water storage and conservation.
Naidu warned that without a robust water security framework, the state's development targets could be jeopardised, especially in drought‑prone regions. He pledged continued government focus on water‑related initiatives to support sustainable growth.
