The footage shows the birds landing on a ridge overlooking the hills, where they were seen interacting with a flock of smaller migratory birds. These tiny birds, which travel from Siberia to Africa, are part of a well‑documented migration route that spans thousands of kilometres. The sighting is rare for the region and has attracted attention from ornithologists and bird‑watching enthusiasts alike.
