Alwar district authorities carried out a police operation targeting a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) figure on Thursday. The action, which took place in the city’s central area, was reported to be part of an ongoing investigation into alleged misconduct.
Following the operation, the detained leader’s legal team filed a petition alleging that the detention was unlawful. The district court examined the claim and concluded that there was no basis for an illegal detention charge, thereby dismissing the petition.
