Hardik Pandya is set to move from Mumbai Indians to Punjab Kings for the next Indian Premier League, as reported by CNBC TV18.
Hardik Pandya, the Indian all‑rounder, has confirmed his switch to Punjab Kings for the forthcoming Indian Premier League season, according to a report by CNBC TV18. The move marks a high‑profile transfer ahead of the tournament's player auction.
The Punjab franchise is expected to benefit from Pandya's dual skill set, which includes aggressive middle‑order batting and handy left‑arm wrist spin. His experience in pressure situations could bolster the team's middle order and provide additional bowling options.
Details of the contract have not been disclosed, but the signing underscores Punjab Kings' intent to strengthen their squad with proven talent. Pandya's presence is likely to influence the team's strategic planning and on‑field dynamics.
The IPL schedule is set to begin in early April, and Punjab Kings will look to integrate Pandya quickly as they aim for a stronger performance compared with last season.
