Aligarh’s Atrauli Localities to Experience 11‑Hour Power Outage on Nov 2

Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh – The electricity distribution board has scheduled an 11‑hour power cut for the Atrauli neighbourhood on November 2. The outage is expected to begin in the early morning and continue into the evening, affecting both residential and commercial consumers.
The planned shutdown covers several colonies and market zones within Atrauli, where households and small businesses rely heavily on uninterrupted supply for daily activities. Utilities have warned that essential services such as water pumps and street lighting may be temporarily disrupted.
Authorities have advised residents to conserve electricity, keep refrigerators closed, and arrange alternative lighting. No specific reason for the scheduled maintenance was disclosed in the brief released by the power department.
The announcement was reported by the local news portal Udaipur Kiran, which cited the power cut as part of routine grid management. Consumers are urged to stay informed through official notices for any changes to the schedule.
