Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav took to the media today to criticize BJP journalists, drawing attention to a recent incident involving the Lucknow Express train.
The train’s engine failed en route between Lucknow and Delhi, causing a temporary halt and raising concerns about safety protocols.
In a pointed remark, Yadav referred to the incident as a ‘Delhi handing over command’ fiasco, implying that the BJP’s handling of the situation was inadequate.
The comment is likely to add fuel to the ongoing political rivalry between the Samajwadi Party and the BJP in the state, as both parties vie for public support ahead of upcoming elections.
