Bollywood star Ajay Devgn will travel to Kargil for the opening schedule of his upcoming film ‘Chauhaan’, sources say.
Veteran actor Ajay Devgn is set to begin filming the action drama ‘Chauhaan’ in the high‑altitude town of Kargil, Ladakh. The crew is expected to arrive later this week for the first schedule, which will reportedly capture the region’s rugged terrain as a backdrop.
Industry insiders note that shooting in Kargil presents logistical challenges due to its remote location and extreme weather, but the team has secured necessary clearances from local authorities. The production is being handled by Devgn’s own production house, which aims to blend authentic mountain scenery with high‑octane sequences.
No further details about the film’s plot or release date have been disclosed, but the choice of Kargil underscores a growing trend of Indian filmmakers exploring lesser‑seen Indian locales for cinematic storytelling.
