**Raichur, October 14:** In view of the upcoming Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections in Karnataka, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is preparing to contest the elections in Raichur district and Devadurga taluk, said Shabbir Ahmed Houdadi, AIMIM Raichur City President.
He stated that the party is making preparations to field capable candidates in the Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat constituencies across Raichur and Devadurga. The party's election strategy will be formulated in accordance with the directions and guidance of its national president and state president, he added.
AIMIM aims to strengthen its organisational base and actively participate in the political process by contesting local body elections. In this regard, party leaders and workers are engaged in election preparations.
