Actor Sai Ketan Rao hopes to feature in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s films

Veteran television actor Sai Ketan Rao told The Times of India that collaborating with director Lokesh Kanagaraj is a dream he hopes to realise. Rao, known for his roles in popular Telugu serials, said the filmmaker’s recent successes have inspired him to aim for the big screen. He added that he admires Kanagaraj’s storytelling style and would welcome an opportunity to contribute to any of his upcoming projects. While no specific film has been discussed, Rao’s comment reflects a growing trend of TV talent seeking roles in mainstream cinema. The statement was made during a recent interview, and no further details have been confirmed.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, whose recent releases have performed strongly at the box office, has not yet responded to Rao’s wish. Industry observers note that the director often works with a set of regular actors, but he remains open to fresh faces. Rao’s expressed interest may signal his readiness to transition from television to larger film ventures.

The Times of India reported the comment without additional context, and Rao’s fans have taken to social media to express support for his ambition.
