ABVP protests at MCD HQ, demands commissioner’s resignation over Satya Niketan tragedy

The All India Students’ Federation (ABVP) staged a protest at the Delhi Municipal Corporation’s headquarters, calling for the municipal commissioner’s resignation after the Satya Niketan accident.

In response, the All India Students’ Federation (ABVP) organized a demonstration outside the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) headquarters on Thursday. Protesters unfurled banners and chanted slogans demanding the immediate resignation of the municipal commissioner, whom they hold responsible for alleged lapses in safety oversight.
ABVP leaders stated that the protest aims to press the administration for a transparent inquiry and stricter enforcement of building regulations. As of now, MCD officials have not issued a formal comment on the demands, and the municipal commissioner’s status remains unchanged.
