Abhishek Chaudhary topped the vote count in the Rajasthan Youth Congress election and is awaiting final endorsement after interviews with senior leaders, including Rahul Gandhi.
Abhishek Chaudhary emerged as the clear front‑runner in the recent Rajasthan Youth Congress election, securing the highest number of votes among the candidates. The voting exercise, conducted under the aegis of the state party unit, saw active participation from young party members across the state.
Following his victory, the party’s protocol requires a series of interviews with senior leadership, a step that includes a meeting with former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. These discussions are intended to assess the winner’s alignment with the party’s broader strategy and to finalize his appointment.
The final endorsement, expected to be placed on the name of the state president, will formally confirm Chaudhary’s position as the youth wing’s leader in Rajasthan. The outcome is viewed as a boost for the Congress’s youth outreach ahead of upcoming electoral contests in the state.
