The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is reviewing its candidate list for certain Ludhiana constituencies after a recent survey indicated voter preferences. Party officials say changes could be made before the upcoming elections.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced that it will reassess the candidates it has fielded in select Ludhiana seats following the release of a recent voter survey. The survey, conducted by a local polling agency, highlighted shifting voter sentiments that could affect the party’s prospects in those constituencies.
AAP officials stated that the party will consider the survey findings before finalizing its nomination list for the forthcoming elections. No specific candidates have been named for replacement yet, and the party has not disclosed a timetable for any changes.
The decision comes as AAP seeks to strengthen its position in Punjab, where it has been expanding its presence in recent years. Analysts note that candidate selection remains a critical factor in the state’s highly competitive electoral environment.
