$80,000 Horror Film with FSU Roots Earns $1.1 Million at Box Office

The film, created by a team linked to Florida State University, was produced on a modest budget of $80,000. Despite its limited resources, the movie has now earned $1.1 million at the box office, a remarkable return for a horror feature of its scale. The success highlights the potential for low‑budget independent films to achieve commercial viability, especially within the horror genre. The strong performance has drawn attention from distributors and could pave the way for future projects by the same team.
