Rajasthan’s Anti‑Narcotics Task Force and Pinwara police seized 45.6 kg of illicit doda‑posh at Malera toll plaza in Jalore, apprehending two suspected smugglers.
The Anti‑Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) teamed up with Pinwara police for a joint operation at the Malera toll plaza in Jalore, Rajasthan. The coordinated raid resulted in the confiscation of 45.598 kilograms of illegal doda‑posh, a potent cannabis resin commonly trafficked across state borders.
Authorities reported that the seized narcotic was concealed inside a vehicle that approached the toll checkpoint. Upon inspection, officers uncovered the contraband and secured the haul without incident.
During the same operation, two individuals identified as local smugglers were taken into custody. Both suspects are being investigated for their role in the drug network and will face further interrogation. The police have indicated that the seizure disrupts a larger trafficking route and that additional actions are underway to curb narcotics flow in the region.
