RAMBAN, NOVEMBER 6: In a major employment initiative for unemployed youth, a Mega Job Fair was organised at Maitra, Ramban, by the District Employment and Counselling Centre under the J&K Employment Department.
The event witnessed participation from more than 500 unemployed youth and nearly 20 private companies, which offered over 400 vacancies across different sectors, including healthcare, education and engineering.
According to the reported details, 10 candidates were selected on the spot, while several others were shortlisted for further recruitment procedures.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan inaugurated the event and encouraged young people to explore employment opportunities and entrepreneurship.
